Test your driving skills in one of our 4WD vehicles on our private off-road driving site at Kippure Estate.  One of the most stress releasing and fun events we offer, there is nothing quite like the thrill of our 4x4 trials in some wonderful countryside, where participants can enjoy learning a new and exciting skill amidst spectacular scenery. 

No previous experience required. Our fleet ranges from the legendary Land Rover, through Isuzu Trooper to Opel Frontera and Suzuki 4x4’s. 

You will be given the task of driving around a challenging course, negotiating natural and man-made obstacles such as thick wooded areas, narrow gaps between marker poles, tackling seemingly impossible terrain such as steep climbs and drops, through deep mud and water…

One of our highly trained instructors will be in the car with you and will give you guidance, advice and encouragement as you go.  The instructor will also be marking you on your style of driving, your ability to keep the vehicle moving without stopping, getting stuck, or hitting the marker poles.

Your ultimate target is to score points for your team.  Competing head to head,
successful teams accumulate points not just for their achievements but also
outstanding teamwork!

An off-road session typically lasts from 2 – 3.5 hours, during which a full safety briefing will be given as well as instructions on how to drive a 4x4 vehicle.  We can facilitate groups of up to 20 people at any one time with individual drivers taking turns on the steering wheel every 15 to 20 minutes.  For larger groups or full day events, we can combine off-road driving with some of our other outdoor- and team building programmes
