Your challenge would be to repair and recondition bikes of all sizes for a corporate social responsibility cause of your choice.
The Bike Project is one of our CSR events that provide eco-friendly transportation to those in need. For this team building adventure, you and your employees can become handymen and handywomen for a day.
You will be helping the Earth by reusing old bicycle parts, some of which have been abandoned and littering roadsides, and transforming them into new modes of transportation. Socially, you would be providing bicycles to those that could not afford them. This would bring a new sense of freedom to the beneficiaries, ridding them from their sense of isolation, allowing them to explore their communities and travel to work and other vital appointments. Your company’s sweat and toil could promote health and fitness, as those who receive your generous gifts will have a fun and convenient vehicle for daily exercise.
Your company would also benefit from Kippure Estate’s CSR programme. Workmates will break out of their comfort zone as they learn some new skills, work together and experience ultimate team building. Before the day of The Bike Project event, you can talk with a Kippure Estate event manager to arrange all logistics and discuss charity organizations. |

Kippure Estate staff will facilitate the bike assemblage/repair process in terms of instructions, tasks and equipment. |

You have the option of breaking up the day with debriefing sessions highlighting skills learned, values and corporate-community spirit. |
