Kippure Corporate integrates
the Challenge by Choice philosophy into our activities

try a potentially challenging activity with the support
and encouragement of the group. Respect for each individual's
choices and ideas is an essential component in each challenge.

High ropes activities often
involves participants who are not climbing to take responsibility
for belaying and supporting someone else who is climbing.
In this way, high ropes courses can also be used to develop
compassion, empathy and cooperation amongst group members.

| The Kippure Corporate ropes course is located
in our private estate overlooking beautiful mountain scenery
and is situated amongst towering trees. The elements on
the ropes course have been constructed using these tall
trees and blend naturally into the surrounding landscape.
All of our high elements are suspended from 11 metres
(35 feet) to 17 metres (55 feet) above the ground. The
views from these high elements are spectacular! |
Some of the elements on the high ropes course include:
Stairway to Heaven - can your team scale a huge suspended
ladder that gets increasingly difficult?
Leap of Faith - The Ultimate test of courage!! Three
challenges wrapped up in one activity - climb a 13 metre pole,
stand on top of a small, square and wobbling platform and
if you are mad enough - leap through the air and grasp a suspended
trapeze bar.
Burma Bridge - Similar to a high wire or tight rope,
a cable is suspended between two trees. The goal of this high
ropes element is to cross to the opposite tree while walking
on the cable. Two ropes serving as handrails are available
to help in maintaining balance while standing and walking
on the cable.
The Sky Frame - Discover the fun and excitement of
abseiling and climbing. The feeling of accomplishment and
elation will prevail when you conquer our new state of the
art wooden climbing tower - don't forget to take in the scenery
on the way!
Catwalk - A horizontally positioned telephone pole
is suspended between two trees. The challenge lies in maintaining
balance while walking across the pole towards the opposite
tree.
