All our team building games and tasks are intellectually
and creatively taxing, whilst at the same time fun, all-inclusive
and engaging.
The tasks outlined below are for illustration purposes only
and represent only a small number of possible team building
activities used on our training events.
I. Corporate Maze -
Move the team through an invisible maze by discovering and
remembering the correct path.
Transfer of Learning: Success is often a function of people
being clear on what the plan is, clear communication and an
understanding of people's roles in carrying out that plan.
This task can be a powerful metaphor that highlights the importance
of good communication. Debrief usually focuses on creating
awareness of different communication channels across teams
and actively demonstrates the benefits of co-operation and
coordination between teams.
II. Puzzle Place - Practice inter-team cooperation
through trading puzzle pieces and putting together a puzzle.
Sounds too simple? Wait until you see competition take precedence
over team cooperation
Transfer of Learning: Often competition will take precedence
over cooperation, even when this problem is framed as a collaborative
effort among teams belonging to the same organisation. Debrief
will encourage greater self-awareness and help develop bonds
across the team creating a new sense of collective responsibility.
III. Egg Drop - Team spirit through fun & friendly
competition. Build a device that will allow an egg (raw )
to drop safely from a specified height.
Benefits: This activity gives team members the chance to
have some fun working together in a small group. In addition,
it fosters team spirit and camaraderie, breaks down barriers
and creates an atmosphere of excitement and purpose.
