 Inspire, refresh and re-energise!
Our latest programme is specially designed to cater for large numbers in a typical conference setting: anything from 200 – 1000+ participants.
Conference organisers often require some ‘wake-up’ activities or entertainment during the course of the proceedings. The object is to refresh the participants, by engaging them in a lively or exciting way.
We offer a programme comprising of a series of fun, interactive games suitable for all abilities. The activities are individually designed to suit the layout of the conference – space available, numbers, seating arrangements and group requirements.
Conference PLUS can last from 15 – 90 minutes, as required. It encourages interaction, laughter, activity and communication.
Slides are projected with accompanying music and the event manager leads the group through the introductions to each activity, awards points, prizes and encourages enthusiastic participation. Other staff circulate to ensure that all equipment is available for the activities, and to back up the main presenter.
What can you expect to happen?
Our staff will listen to your specific needs for your conference. The activities selected will be those that best match your itinerary, expectations and planned outcomes for the overall event.
Aspects of the conference can be interlinked with Conference PLUS, and the activities can be used to reinforce conference material, or as a learning tool in itself.
The programme can be carried out in any number of scenarios (and will vary to suit accordingly). Variations in size of the group, size of the conference hall, seating / standing, and of course timings can all be catered for.
The programme can be designed to step in and out of the proceedings throughout the event to constantly maintain a stimulated audience, or it can be placed at the most suitable place in the schedule to meet your requirements. All we need are the usual multi-media facilities available at any standard conference centre - Powerpoint projector, sound system and microphone (ideally wireless) with a conference room capable of taking the entire group.
Groups will need paper and pens, but we can provide these and all other equipment.
Sample activities:
Balloon Sort – A simple, fun activity where each participant blows up a balloon (lots of different colours throughout the room) and keeps it in the air for 10 seconds at a time. Then, when the music starts the group as a whole must move with their balloon (still kept aloft) to join up with those other members of the group with the same balloon colour. So, all the reds will move together, as will the blues, greens etc.
If the group is in a theatre seating arrangement, then we get the people stay put and the balloons move to form colour groups.
Double Take – Participants will try to find another person in the group who matches them with regard to some aspect of their life, ie on the screen will flash “Eye Colour (EXACTLY!)” and everyone must circulate to find that person with matching eye colour.
We flash up lots of aspects to encourage plenty of interaction (“Numbers of brothers!” or “Born in the same hospital!” or “Same colour socks!”).
Spot prizes can be awarded for pairs with 3 or more things in common – “Same first name, same star sign, same car!”
