One of Kippure Estate’s most popular and successful team building Ireland challenges is named in honour of TV hero and secret agent Angus MacGyver. MacGyver favoured his brain over brawn to solve the most impossible and adventurous of tasks, sometimes in a matter of minutes.
You and your workmates can tap into your “inner MacGyver” to complete physical, mental and multi-tasking team exercises, as you race against the clock.

The MacGyver Challenge is a much-loved corporate event as participants have the power to select which team games they will face. At each stage, players will choose to harness their strength, quick wits, stamina, speed, lateral thinking or all of the above. |

Each participant defines his own role and reveals her talents to the rest of the group as teams complete climbing, balancing, leaping and swinging courses in the high ropes area, intellectual puzzles, and co-operative, multi-tasking team activities. |

Each member plays a vital role in collecting points for their team. The end results are enhanced trust, communication and team bonding between workmates. |
This outdoor team building competition takes place in woodland, grassland and river valley landscapes throughout Kippure Estate’s 240-acre lands. The team who has collected the most points wins. This is not simply a race of speed nor strength, but a quest where all team members most successfully employ their collective talents and skills.
The MacGyver Challenge can be run for group sizes of up to 400 participants. The programme is generally run completely outdoors, but can be customised to also include some indoor team activities. Choose between a half-day, a full-day or multi-day event. The latter may include other team building games, lodging and corporate entertainment, like a themed dinner and dancing. |
Aristotle coined the phrase “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.” This will be made clear as your group participates in this exciting corporate team building exercise. |

Participants arrive and socialise over tea, coffee and home-baked scones. |

Kippure Estate’s trained instructors will lead icebreakers to inspire your group for the challenge ahead. |

Participants will be briefed and will participate in the MacGyver Challenge. |

Instructors will lead a final team game for the entire group. Scores and the winning teams will be revealed. |
