Perhaps the most important outcome is that The Final Countdown breaks down barriers between workmates, increases morale, enhances motivation and encourages team bonding. 

Teambuilding is the core of The Final Countdown. The most successful team will not necessarily be the fastest or strongest, but the one that cumulatively collects the highest level of points and exhibits outstanding team work and trust in one another. Each participant will play an important role to contribute to his/her team’s accomplishments.

Examples of The Final Countdown team activities are:
	The Bottle Rocket Challenge Teams are given a water-powered bottle rocket kit, a raw egg (!!!) and other props. They tap into their ingenuity and knowledge of aerodynamics to try and build the rocket that will reach the highest point in the sky.
	Blind Man’s Cure This is a brilliant task and is guaranteed to go down a storm every time. Teams are challenged to rescue the last remaining individuals of an endangered bird species. However, the birds are in the middle of a toxic swamp and participants must figure out how to reach and rescue them without being poisoned.
	Corporate Maze Each team must collectively navigate through an invisible maze by discovering and remembering the correct path.
	Tribal Dance A primitive tribe has captured the group, and will only release them if they partake in one of their most ancient dance ceremonies.
	Crazy Code Breakers Teams find themselves in a challenging situation. With no rescue teams available, they must save themselves through unlocking a secret code. But each team must outwit their opponents. Which team will prevail under this extreme pressure?
	Transmitter Relay Members of each team must transmit an important message vital to their survival. If the message is altered even slightly, the team will not succeed.
	The Great Egg Drop Team-mates work together to design and develop a new product - an egg drop device! Each team must deliver a sales presentation to explain why their product merits financial backing and then test their product for the audience.

The Final Countdown always finishes on a high note. This form of corporate hospitality will never be forgotten.
